The West Baton Rouge Parish Permit Office conducts inspections throughout the entire Parish, including parts of Iberville Parish; Rosedale and Grosse Tete. West Baton Rouge Parish adopted the 2021 Codes after the State of Louisiana adopted on January 1, 2023.
All residents wanting to self-contract their own home or accessory building must complete a West Baton Rouge Self-Contracting Affidavit with a commissioned notary. All self-contracting residents must also provide a list of sub-contractors to verify proof of registration with the Parish.
